About Me
My name is Tessa Enright, and I grew up in San Diego County, California. I enjoyed the beaches and parks, and playing in the backyard with my brothers.
I lived there until I was 11, and then my family moved to Northern Arizona. At first the move was difficult. Starting Junior High and becoming a teenager is hard enough without moving in the middle of it. But I soon grew to love living in a small town, and I enjoyed the warm, dry weather.
I studied Business Administration Marketing at Northern Arizona University, for lack of a better idea. In graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in 2008.
College was mostly spent being afraid of growing-up and having to go it alone.
I never knew what I wanted to be when I grew up, like some people. I had no plans.
The dilemma of choosing what to do with my life after college was solved temporarily when I met Mike. Mike is from Germany, and he is my best friend and boyfriend of two years. I am now living in Dresden, Germany with him, and we are planning on getting married this summer. I go to school (sometimes) and study the language, but my progress is slow.
At some point I hope I can use my language to earn a living. I also hope that when I return to the U.S. I can find a job I can stand. Whether it will have anything to do with German or Marketing, who can say?
The move has been hard on me, but I am trying my best to find new hobbies and interests. I have had so much more time to read, have fun, and work on my blog this year, so that has been a good thing. And when it comes down to it, Europe is beautiful and historic, and this is a great opportunity for me to experience life in a foreign land and to see amazing new places. This is what I try to remind myself everytime I find that I am missing the familiarities of home.
These are the stories and photos from my every day life and travels in Europe. I hope you enjoy it!
